We have to develop a program on a UNIX system which has to identify itself (with user-ID and password) at an other system. The problem is that the password must not be known by the super user but must be changeable by a particular administrator (who is NOT the super user) without recompiling the code (the source code is on a separate system). We have some ideas but have not yet found a both simple and effective solution. Any ideas? Tom Hofmann wtho%cgch@relay.EU.net
