I am Ph.D. student at Stony Brook and part of a software design course where the entire class is designing, implementing, and testing a spreadsheet type product. I have been chosen to manage the quality assurance group. I have never tested an interactive product nor am I familiar with general testing methods of large products. Here are some of my questions and requests: -General suggestions and comments from those who have already participated in the same exercise. -References covering quality assurance and testing of large products, especially testing interactive products. -How involved should my group be in the design and implementation process. Should we be standing over everyone elses shoulder, watching their every move, reading every line of code? At the other extreme, should we just wait until the other groups are finished and then start our testing? Thanks very much. Mike
