In an earlier posting, I listed the prorgam for the First Annual Oregon
Workshop on Software Metrics. I mistakenly listed the registration fee
as $195 for both days, it is actually $200 for both days, $125 for single
days (ie, if you just want to attend on March 1 or March 2). Hope this
didn't cause anyone any inconvenience.

Extension of a Call for Participation
Third Annual Oregon Workshop on Software Metrics
March 18-19, 1991
The Third Annual Oregon Workshop on Software Metrics will be
held March 18 and 19, 1991 at the Silver Falls State
Conference Center outside of Silverton Oregon. As in the
past, the Workshop will again be jointly sponsored by
Portland State University and the Oregon Center for Advanced
Technology Education. The Workshop is expected once again
to bring together researchers and practitioners from
throughout the country to discuss the application and use of
software metrics. In order to ensure close interaction
among participants, attendance will be limited to 75.
We are currently soliciting participation from both
researchers and practitioners for the 1991 Workshop. If you
are currently doing research in software metrics that would
be of interest to practitioners, or if you are a
practitioner and have some interesting, generalizable
experiences with metrics to share with others, we would like
to invite you to consider making a presentation at the
Workshop. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
o+ Using metrics to plan and schedule testing.
o+ Applying metrics at the design phase.
o+ Building the corporate-wide metrics database.
o+ Novel approaches to using metrics.
o+ Developing metric standards.
o+ Using metrics during code reviews.
We are also soliciting ideas for panel sessions, mini-
tutorials and tool demonstrations. To be considered, submit
a 5-10 page extended abstract of your proposed presentation,
panel or mini-tutorial to:
