ECOOP '91 -- Call for Papers SUBMISSION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 30, 1990 The Fifth European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming July 15-19, 1991, Geneva, Switzerland Conference Chair: Dennis Tsichritzis (Switzerland) Programme Chair: Pierre America (The Netherlands) Organizing Chair: Oscar Nierstrasz (Switzerland) North American Coordinator: Karl Lieberherr (USA) Call for Papers ECOOP '91 will be the fifth annual European Conference on Object-Oriented Programming. The conference is intended to be a forum for the presentation and discussion of research contributions in the area of object-oriented programming and related areas. Tutorials and workshops on selected topics will take place during the first two days of the conference. Authors are invited to submit papers describing original research contributions dealing with object-oriented languages, systems and methods. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to: - OO languages and systems - OO databases - distributed OO systems - concurrency and "active" objects - theoretical foundations - advanced tools for OO development - class management - OO development methods - OO approaches to user interface construction - OO applications and experience Submissions should be written in English, double-spaced and no longer than twenty pages. A separate cover sheet must be provided including the title, authors' names, postal and electronic mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, a ten-line abstract, and a list of keywords.
