I am looking for information about existing software tools for development
in C in the Unix environment on hardware systems including ATT 3B2, NCR Tower,
IBM RT and RS/6000, Data General AViiON, and DECStation 3100 with character,
not graphical (e.g., X), terminals.
The tools I am looking for would enhance programmer productivity and would
produce "better" code. Included might be editors, debuggers, interpreters,
code analyzers, run-time analyzers, profilers, compilers, etc.
I realize that many products might not run on all the hardware I've listed,
but if you like something that runs on just one of these systems, I'd be
interested in hearing about it.
