I'm doing some research on "total" software development environments; i.e.
systems that support the whole specification process from intial design
through to subsequent maintainance. I was explaining my ideas to someone
the other day and they said, 'why are you bothering? IBM's A/D cycle does
all that." But when I pressed him for details, he had none.
So, anyone out there can tell me about IBM's A/D cycle? Does it represent
a "total" environment? Anyone used it? Liked it?
I'll post a summary of any responses.
