My group (about 12 engineers) is researching source control systems for a multi-platform project. Since we are currently using Sun workstations, we are leaning towards either Sun's NSE or enhancing our own home-grown system. We already have about 10K files. The question is, can anyone relate any experiences with NSE, either positive or negative. We would especially be interested in groups that work with multiple target architectures and/or OS's? What problems has NSE solved? What problems did it introduce? How did you get around them? Would you use it again? How was the conversion process? Do you share sources between NSE-based projects and others? Thanks in advance. A summary will be posted if response warrants. -- Jeremy L.
