I would take a look at NO PROBLEM!, from Pencom Software in Austin, Texas. As a Beta test site for this 1.0 release, I've found that it is a viable product with which to manage the flow and process of problem reporting and tracking. As I understand it, Pencom is planning on selling it for something under $1000, which is fairly inexpensive for this kind of tool. Right now the 1.0 release supports Sun's and 88K systems, is character oriented (uses curses), and should be fairly portable to other Unix (tm) systems. Call and find out.
