Advance Notice of DARPA/AJPO Grant Program for Curriculum Enhancement

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, in cooperation with the
Ada Joint Program Office, will soon be announcing a new grant program in
support of undergraduate curriculum enhancement and innovation. Grants
can support the development of new or revised courses in order to introduce
Ada or software engineering or both into the courses. The grants can
also support the acquisition of Ada compilers and support tools.

A detailed announcement in the form of a brochure will be mailed to all
United States college and university computer science/computer engineering
department chairs about June 1, 1991. There will be a series of proposal
closing dates and award dates, approximately every six months. It is
possible that the first awards will be made in time for the fall 1991
academic term. Interested faculty should watch for the announcement and
be prepared to act quickly.

NOTE! DARPA has authorized me to make this post. I will also be able to
post the full text of the announcement once it is available (approx. June 1).
Please do not request further information; I have none!
