[comp.lang.postscript] Need help interfacing TeX and MacDraw output...

Help!

I've been trying to get MacDraw output integrated with TeX output using
ArborText's DVILASER/PS (VAX/VMS) Version 4.0 program.

Has anyone done this with either ArborText's or another dvi to
PostScript conversion package?

I've gotten the LaserWriter prep file from the Mac to the VAX and have
made changes to it similar to those in ArborText's version. I've then
concatenated this prep file and a MacDraw PostScript file and
successfully printed the combination from the VAX to the LaserWriter.

Integrating this with TeX has been a failure. I get an unrecognizable
set of dots and dashes for the MacDraw figure, and it overwrites parts
of the TeX text.

I have been able to integrate simple PostScript files with TeX.

I have a similar problem.
I am interested in getting MAC postscript files (from macdraw or
macpaint) included into LaTeX documents using the \special
command, and the dvi2ps program on a SUN.
So far I have been able to successfully include a non-mac
postscript file into a LaTeX file (using dvi2ps), and I have been
able to print out a mac postscript file (non-LaTeX) on a LaserWriter
(you need to prepend a header containing a mac postscript
dictionary - on our machine its called laser-prep-30.pro). However,
I have not been able to include a mac postscript file into a
LaTeX file no matter how I try to include the laser-prep stuff.
Has anybody been succesful in getting mac files to be included
(and printed) in LaTeX documents? If so, I want to hear about it.
