I have been attempting to create a specialty character set using Fontographer 2.1, and have encountered some strange results. First, when characters are printed bold, italic in a large point size (e.g., 72 or 100) an appearent shaddow of the character is present. Second, the vertical positioning relative to the adjacent characters seems to vary somewhat (this may be to the "drop shadow" problem) depending upon the selected point size. I have played about with the positioning of the character relative to the base line but to no avail. What am I doing incorrectly? Is this a Fontographer bug (perhaps fixed in a later release)>
