In the PostScript language reference manual, page 44, Adobe claims that restore doesn't undo changes made to the elements of strings. They claim this "behavior" is a defect...(read bug). Does anybody know if other postscript implementations also encorporate this bug? Has the PostScript community come to rely upon it's existence?
