[comp.lang.postscript] info-postscript or not?

jik@athena.mit.edu (Jonathan I. Kamens) (03/20/88)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall a message posted
approximately a week ago in which the moderator of the info-postscript
mailing list stated that the list was going to be disbanded since he
did not know that comp.lang.postscript existed when he reinstated it.

If this is the case, then why are so many idiots requesting in public
net messages to be added to the mailing list? And even assuming that
the mailing list *is* active, why are they posting mailing list
requests to the network when they should be sent in e-mail?

People, please refrain from requesting publicly to be added to
info-postscript -- do it in e-mail. And would someone please either
verify that the list still exists or confirm the feeling I have that
it does not?

Thank you.
