Im looking for an effect to be done in postscript, and the closest analogy
that I can come up with is a rainbow. Visualize this: The words UC Santa
Cruz curved along the interior of a Rainbow...not just rotated to fit
the curve, but pushed to the top of the curve as well as the bottom, so
that the letters are somewhat distorted.
Im not sure, but I that the current or old San Diego Padre's uniform had
a similar effect.
I was able, using Cricket Draw, to get an effect that bent text along
a beizer or otherwise curve, but it would physically rotate the letters
so that they would conform to the curve, in my example, the U in UC would
be at a 45 degree rotation counterclockwise from the horizontal plane..
Can anyone help?
