Has anyone out there done software to compress bitmaps and decompress them inside the PS engine? I've heard a rumor that someone has. Ideally, we'd like to use G4 FAX format, suitably tweaked to make it 7-bit, 80 column ASCII. What's needed is a PS routine to unpack it. Can such a routine run fast enough to make it worth the trouble?
