Does anybody out there have any ideas about finding points of instersection between a shape and a clip path? Among other uses, I would like to be able to "clip off" the top half of a Times-Roman "h" and also find the two points where the stem intersects the clipping region. This would allow me to discover the width of the stem (my application cannot automatically assume it is dealing with Times-Roman) and to use it as a starting point for further drawing. I think this is not a trivial problem, so even ideas about how to approach the problem would be welcome. BTW, if it IS a trivial problem and I'm just being dense, please email me so the net doesn't fill up with the same reply. Hopeful of help, -Russell Wilcox rjw@wjh12.harvard.edu
