There is a marvelous package, free available, called Psfig: it's in fact a preprocessor, similar to eqn. It needs PostScript programs that (a.o.) include a %%BoundingBox line. The only thing is that you have to adapt your postprocessor in a rather simple way to recognize the Psfig-generated stuff. -- -- ###### Jos Vos ###### Internet jos@idca.tds.philips.nl ###### -- ###### ###### UUCP ...!mcvax!philapd!jos ######

This file should be ended with two dots '..'. He cannot recall, however, if you need to have the %! included at the head of the postscript file. You may want to do some experimenting with this. Is anyone aware of a utility which will convert between the AT&T Targa image format and Postscript (or Sun pixrect)? Any pointers would be appreciated. Andrew Hudson abh0@gte.com GTE Laboratories 40 Sylvan Rd Waltham, Ma 02254 617-466-2870
