Having seen the clever poster (not a person!) that just went by, I at first mistook it to be something else with "rays" in it, namely an intricate and curly border such as one might want for a certificate of whatever. Acanthus leaves... that sort of thing. Take a close look at a dollar bill: lots of straight lines comprising curvy-looking objects (among some actual curves). Has anybody created such a thing?
