[comp.lang.postscript] Commercial Tax Software To Not Buy

I bought SoftView's TaxView program (for MSDOS) recently -- and I'm
disappointed to report that it doesn't work correctly with PostScript
printers. This is surprising, since their Mac version works just
fine. Many of the forms are somewhat garbled -- and not unusual
forms, either. Form 1040 has overlapping form text, numbers printing
where none should appear. It's a shame because the on-screen pre-
sentation of the forms (through Windows) is perfect, and the rest
of the program is very well thought out. If you plan to hand fill
out the IRS forms anyway, fine. Just don't expect it to do the
printing for you.
