I need that most basic tool, a postscript pretty printer, to make sense of files generated by NCARG and IDL programs, and amend them in useful ways. Preferably in C so as to sun on our runs ... err, make tracks on our Unix machines. Is there some sort of annotated listing of postscript tools 'n things, out there and available? Amazing as postscript is, I have the feeling that any "there ought to be a postscript this or that" notion I might have, has been done, and there are lots I wouldn't think of on my own.
