[] I need to print a PostScript file (created by Amiga WordPerfect) on an Apple LaserWriter at school that is connected to a bunch of networked HP Chipmunks. Unfortunately, the printer spooler says that "vmi" is undefined when I try and print it. My guess is that the network there has downloaded their own default command interface (bad description...sorry) into the LaserWriter, so that the shipped defaults don't work. (Note that printing this same file to an Imagen running "UltraScript" works just fine.) So is there a way to tell the LaserWriter to use its as-shipped defaults for "this-file-only" ? Any help would be appreciated, since I know very little about PostScript or LaserWriters (except that the output looks much better than my Epson MX-80). E-Mail replies would be great. Thank you. -- Glenn Lewis glennl@vlsi.caltech.edu
