[] Many thanks to everyone who's discussed ways to round corners on fonts. I have some stroked PostScript fonts that look like "line" versions of Helvetica, Letter Gothic, etc. (designed for printing on pen plotters and lo-rez dot matrix) that should look really nice if I draw them with wide lines with rounded line-caps. [No, I don't think I can legally distribute said fonts. These were originally Atari ST "Publishing Partner" fonts, which, with "PageStream"'s font editor, were converted to downloadable PostScript. Sorry.] I'll just use my favorite desktop publishing program, "PageStream", to set type in those fonts, and then hack the PostScript code to use the thicker, rounded lines...
