We have the chance to get a free DEC LN03 laser printer. DEC sells a
conversion kit to convert the LN03 into a "ScriptPrinter" (DEC's version of
Postscript). Postscript is Postscript so a DEC LN03 ScriptPrinter should
work with Sun's Transcript Software...shouldn't it? Has anybody tried this
before?

Yep -- we're using one right now with Transcript -- fine as frog hair! No problem whatever (if you discount the obsolete iron that it's running on -- a VAX 11/785).
