Howdy Netland ! I have received a copy of the GhostScript distribution package. Maybe I'm not as patient as I used to be, but though what I consider a reasonable amount of effort, I have been unsuccessful at creating the PC executables. I am only interested in anything that runs on an EGA PC. I would be extremely appreciative if someone who has the appropriate executables could PKARC/UUENCODE and mail them to me. I feel useless making this request, but I really need these executables as I am writing a fair amount of PostScript by hand right now, and need a better testing environment. Thanks for the anon FTP pointer Erik (erja@daimi.dk) :-) I recieved a reference to anonymous FTP from chyde.uwasa.fi (128.214.12.3) under /pc/pd/printer/gs13exe.arc and gs13doc.arc. This is an almost complete version of GhostScript V1.3 for the PC running EGA, missing a file called uglyfont.cp, which I have here. It works pretty well too, except I am having a problem with the 'show' command. Every time I come across a 'show' it seems to dump the status of the interpreter and then exits to dos. Anyone currently running GhostScript got any ideas ?
