[comp.lang.postscript] wanted: Cheq Font

The October 1989 issue of Personal Publishing (Type Drawer column, Page 74)
recommended a Downloadable PostScript font for the Macintosh named "Cheq"
(a dingbat font of Chess pieces). According to Personal Publishing, this
font is Freeware from Adobe (I couldn't believe it either!). If anyone has
a copy of this font, I would appreciate it if they could post it or mail
me a copy. (Anyone from Adobe listening?)

On the same page, there was a Shareware font called Alison from Gary Garrett.
It looked attractive in the sample, but this font is NOT hinted. Has anyone
seen this font at 300 dpi (how does it look)? I'd be somewhat interested
in trying this out, but I suspect I'd be happier sticking with Adobe fonts.

Thanks for any info.

			^^^^ We listen.

Herb,
Try sending mail to the PS file server
(ps-file-server@adobe.com) a message containing the word "help". It
will reply with how to use the server, and how to get the Mac version
of Cheq.
I hope you enjoy Cheq. I enjoyed designing it.
