I have a modified LaserPrep file for use on a macintosh. What I want to do is check chooser names to limit or not limit the number of pages that will be printed out by a LaserWriter. Actually, none of this is the problem. Currently the program checks to see if certain user names are being used. It would be much nicer if it would just check to see if the last 1 or 2 characters in the user name string are spaces. Does anyone know how to do this? I have some manuals, but from what I can see Postscript is decidedly lacking in string manipulation abilities. Not a flame, mind you, just an observation. Anyway, help would be appreciated I hate it when other people put this, but I haven't the time to read this newsgroup every day, so please respond directly to me. Thanks again, Vaughan -- ------ Vaughan Turner BITNET: mcswvt@nmsuvm1.bitnet Box 3AT Computer Center INTERNET: vturner@dante.nmsu.edu Las Cruces, NM 88001
