[comp.lang.postscript] What is LaserGo?

hlison@bbn.com (Herb Lison) (10/13/89)

Does anyone know of a company called LaserGo? I've heard indirectly
that they have a PostScript interpreter called GoScript. Has anyone
used it? Any information would be appreciated.

That's the adress of LaserGo. They deliver a postscript emulation software
package for a lot of printers including the LaserJet, Canon Machines etc..
And you're right, the name of the software is GoScript.

The price of this is $195 for the Postscript interpreter, drivers for the
printers and 13 scalable outline fonts.
For $395 you can get all 35 fonts of the LaserWriter.

There are a few other products out in the market. The most interesting one is
the 'Freedom of Press' product by
Custom Application Inc.

I hope this will help you.
