Is there a method for generating a font list with sample text for the following combination. Macintosh SE, LaserWriter NTX. I know there are postscript programs to print out a printer-resident fontlist, but I have a collection of fonts stored in the ols system folder that I'd like to see as well. Any postscript method for forcing a printer file to be downloaded to the printer or an application that does this would be most helpful. Thanks to all in advance Mike Kazmierczak -- X Systems -- INTERNET: kaz%nanovx.UUCP@gatech.edu

Open a document with your wordprocessor (Word, WriteNow, MacWrite) and type the famous '...lazy fox...' line with different fonts, and print it out. As for LaserWriter NTX, a friend of mine has the fonts in a file, (I don't know where he got them, I don't have them), so all he did was installed the fonts in his system folder, and did what I did. Does this help ? -- ----------------------------------------- Budi Rahardjo -- rahardj@ccu.UManitoba.CA rahardj@ccm.UManitoba.CA rahard@ee.UManitoba.CA
