How about a new group, net.police, for policing the net? From this group a net wide policing function could be coordinated to track down and stamp out abuses of usenet. Maybe this important work could also be supplimented with a net.fbi. Jim

It seems to me that net.police should be a subgroup of net.music.

We could always just call it net.sarcasm. Or use Python-esque terminology and call it net.scummy.bastards. -- Stephen Perelgut Computer Systems Research Group University of Toronto Usenet: {linus, ihnp4, allegra, decvax, floyd}!utcsrgv!perelgut CSNET: perelgut@Toronto

I very much agree with the need for a net.police and a net.fbi but I don't agree with the names. The two groups should be gathered into one: net.________. "What," you may ask, "does '________' stand for?" Ah.... That is restricted on a "need to know" basis. Art Zemon FileNet Corp.
