[comp.lang.postscript] Offending commands...

cristy@eplrx7.uucp (John Cristy) (11/18/89)

The following command sequence generates an offending command error on
  my color QMS printer:

  md begin

  T T 0 0 730 552 -31 -30 761 582 100 72 72 1 F F F F T T T F psu
  (cristy; document: b1736.tiff)jn
  0 mf
  od

This command sequence was generated by command-f on the Macintosh when
printing a color TIFF file. What's up?

John,
The problem is that this code depends on a set of routines and
definitions used by the LaserWriter driver on the Mac, called "Laser Prep". I
believe that if you use the K instead of the F key to generate the listing, the
driver will include the header in the file. Alternatively, you can download it
to the printer yourself.
