I've been trying out Carnegie-Mellon's latest beta release of the Andrew environment but have had problems printing from it. It seems that normal text is output in troff format, which is just fine with me, but pictures are printed out in PostScript. Since most of the printers around here are (not surprisingly) HP laserjets of different flavors, and since most of these are not able to understand PostScript, I have been unable to print any pictures. Does anyone know something that would help me? What it looks like I need is a PostScript -> ditroff converter or something similar. Maybe if I can just get the postscript output into a raw bitmap form I would be happy - although these can take a while to print.
