[net.micro] English Electricity for American Com

I just bought a converter (220 -> 110v, no frequency conversion) which
was big enough to carry the load. It cost about $150 USD. Absolutely
no problem. The rated capacity is enough for my full blown Compaq
Deskpro, HP polotter, and letter quality printer (which is still in
the USA, haven't needed it yet). I have had NO problems. I do not
know the name of the manufacturer, nor do I care. What is important
is CAPACITY, and leave some safety margin (don't need to be paranoid,
tho).

My home CD player works perfectly too, on a very cheapo ( maybe 10-20
USD ) converter.
