[comp.lang.postscript] EPSF, TranScript compatibility

Here's another question about Adobe products and EPSF compatibility. I
recently tried to print a WriteNow document from a NeXT, via the Adobe
TranScript "psrev" utility running on a Sun (to which the printer is
attached). WriteNow can produce documents containing embedded documents,
thus containing multiple instances of "%%Trailer" (correctly bracketed
by %%BeginDocument ... %%EndDocument pairs). It seems that psrev from
TranScript 2.1 ignores the %%BeginDocument ... %%EndDocument nesting and
takes the first instance of %%Trailer as the end of the document. The
result is that psrev processes only those pages up to the first embedded
document, and treats the following pages as part of the trailer.

Is there a newer, smarter version of psrev available? If not, would
anyone else be interested if I hack up a fix? (I'm lucky enough to
have source for TranScript).
