[comp.lang.postscript] Color images in ps

izen@amelia.nas.nasa.gov (Steven H. Izen) (01/23/90)

I am trying to get a sampled rgb image printed on a color ps printer. I
have heard/read that there is an operator colorimage which supposedly does
this. Unfortunately the red book doesn't know about this operator, in fact
it says that (at the time of the publication) ps didn't support such an
operation. Well... Where can I find the documentation for using that operator?

Thanks in advance.

Try the Adobe file server. The access info has been posted here. I have it
on archieve somewhere, and can dig it up if you need it. They have a document
that explains the color stuff
