Hi everyone, I'm just learning Postscript, and I'm having a bit of trouble debugging my code. I use a UNIX operating system, and Apple Laserwriters that are hooked up to the network here at UCSD. This setup is such that I don't get any error messages back from the printer when things go wrong. I usually just get a blank page or nothing at all. The question is whether anyone out there has a postscript interpreter (written in c if possible) that I could use to find stack overflows and other nasties. It would be nice to be able to trace through a program rather than to get a blank sheet from the printer. (The laser accounts here are $.10 a page and this is getting expensive.) I don't even know if such a thing exists, but if someone has one, I'd really appreciate hearing about it. BTW, I'm looking for public domain stuff here, no $1,500 packages or anything. I do have FTP access. Please respond via E-MAIL to the address below. Don't post unless it's something you think others would be interested in.
