[comp.lang.postscript] Converting PostScript fonts to TeX metafonts

shani@TAURUS.BITNET (02/13/90)

I have several postscript fonts on a macintosh, and I would like to be able
to use them for TeX on our SUN/4, so I would like to convert them to metafonts.
Does anyone know of a program (or a set of tools maybe...) to do that?

Thanks in advance

you don't need to convert them to Metafont. You just need a dvi to
PostScript driver that understands the idea of PostScript fonts. these
are ten a penny. try, for instance, dvips available from
labrea.stanford.edu
