I am wondering if any graphics workstation has implemented a Postscript Previewer. I ask because I include Postscript diagrams from Adobe Illustrator into LaTex, and waste many pages adjusting the position exactly. Dvi previewers do not handle the postscript (I've used the ones under Sunview and X windows). What would be helpful would be a program that takes a page full of postscript and show it on the screen. *************************************************************************** Simon Michnowicz | Switching Section | Telecom Australia | Research Laboratories | "We Do It To Bits In Packets" Phone: Wk (03) 541 6476 | Hm No Fixed Abode | ACSNET simon@shiva.trl.oz | ***************************************************************************

DEC has a PostScript previewer called dxpsview (for X11, and possibly an analogue for other systems---I dunno). It requires that your X server have the (a?) PostScript extension. I've used it only briefly---our PostScript extension went away when we upgraded---but it seems pretty good. I don't know how well it handles large documents. -- /^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^\ | It's worse than that, { Nathan Tenny } Acme Hedgehog Inserters | | it's physics, Jim! { ...tektronix!reed!mojo } Implementation Director | \^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^/
