I am trying to imbed Postscript generated on a Mac into a Publisher
document, and am having problems which (I think!) originate in the
Apple Dictionary.
Before the beginning of the Mac text, Publisher attempts to disable
the Showpage command with the line:
/showpage {} def
but the Apple dicitonary seems to have gotten around this by
defining a command cp
"/cp{not{userdict/#copies 0 put}if ma 0 gt{{t1
the{exit}if}loop}if{copypage}{showpage}ifelse pm restore}bdf"
then binding it immediately so that it carries out the showpage
function.
I can get around this problem by manually inserting a showpage in
the PUblisher postscript, but I want to know if this will always work
(ie are the situations when this just WILL NOT DO) and is there a
better way to do this (so that users don't have to insert the command
every time).
Thanks in Advance!!
