-Here is a question for font gurus out there ... I've had quite considerable difficulty getting ATM to render a font. The PostScript interpreter will accept my font, but ATM won't. I've followed the font construction rules in Chapter 9 of the Type I Font Format book; I haven't used eexec, nor have I included any other entries in /Private except those strictly necessary (BlueValues, MinFeature, Password). I have set BlueValues to a null array, []. I have included skeleton Subrs and OtherSubrs entries. My font has the form of the example font listed in Chapter 2 of the black book. The links between my bitmaps and outline font files are correct, because the print manager will find my font. What additional requirements might there be for ATM compatibility? I believe early versions of Fontographer 3.1 produced fonts that in some obscure circumstances(?) caused ATM to 'fail'. I would appreciate any information about font parsing rules and ATM compatibility. (eg. are they any constraints on the contents of specific POST resources?) regards, Nigel Yeoh, King's College London CompuServe:100016,275, ZDTL123@UK.AC.KCL.CC.ASH (or here) -- Automatic Disclaimer: The views expressed above are those of the author alone and may not represent the views of the IBM PC User Group. --
