[Et tu, line-eater?] I am looking for a version of MS-Kermit that can run on a DG One. I tried to kermit it from my PC to a DG Mainframe via Kermit and then back down to the DG One via blast, but it doesn't seem to talk to the serial port. I tried both versions 2.27 and 2.28 + jrd2. Professional-YAM communications software is available for the DG/One. The
DG/One (and the newer machine) use an 8251 for serial I/O, and thus won't
operate with "normal" PC comm programs which are, by necessity, specific
to the 8250.
