Thank you whoever you are for the helpful reply on the problems I'd experienced with the ST/GEM user interface. The standard user interface dialog boxes can be modified to correct some of the ambiguities I've seen; however, I assume that most people will still use the standard boxes unless they're strongly inclined to write the necessary replacement code. --carl madson-- SRI International, Menlo Park, CA P.S. -- I'm sorry I couldn't reply directly, but our mailer is having problems and all I saw was the main body of the reply. -------
