I successfully compiled and linked Ghostscript2.0 on an ancient PC/XT clone using TurboC2.0 and PC-DOS3.3. I did only what the Ghostscript distribution files told me to do (notably copy and edit msdos.mak into a makefile that "knew" my directory tree for TurboC stuff). I successfully printed off the golfer.ps file on my HP LaserJet+ as proof. On the other hand, my new TurboC++1.0 choked on the compilation of, among other things, printer drivers (stdprn not defined) and ialloc.c (pointer arithmetic problem). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kent A.
