I recently FTP'd the PBM+ package. I want to get a dump of an X window. Everything works fine except for the color postscript. The command I used was: xwd | xwdtoppm | ppmtops >& dump.ps I sent the dump.ps file to our color printer, a Tektronix Phaser PX. The only thing that came out was a footer page describing the print job. I then tried to use the SUN OpenWindows PostScript previewer, pageview. The only thing that showed up on the screen was a cryptic error message: Process: 0x46c088 (tongo.dfrf.nasa.gov client) Error: undefined Stack: 124 62 8 array[6] array{4} false 3 Executing: colorimage At: Reading file(?,W,R) I don't know anything about the PostScript language. I assume the PBM+ package is working correctly, since I have heard of many others using it successfully. Does my printer not understand the colorimage command? Does pageview not understand colorimage? Any pointers on how to pursue the problem would be appreciated.
