I am looking for a lpd filter for my PostScript printer. I would like for it to be able to detect if lpr's input is already in PostScript form, and if so pass it on to the printer. If it is not in Postscript, I would like for it to convert the text to PostScript before sending it to the printer. If you have any leads on such a filter, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Also, I would like to have a lpd filter that does printer accounting for a PostScript printer, and a PostScript pretty printer for straight text, but these two items are not nearly as important as the filter.
