What are the names of all these different colored books? I went to the
bookstore and found the blue book and the red book but I couldn't find any green
books aor orange books or any other color books for that matter that had
anything to do with postscript. I couldn't very well go to the counter and say
"I want to order a green book." because they would probably laugh in my face.

In college bookstores around here (Cody's in Berkeley and the
Stanford book store), the sales personnel will know what you
mean if you say PostScript <color> book. Here's my list:

Red: PostScript Language Reference Manual (new version available soon)
Green: PostScript Language Program Design
Blue: PostScript Language Tutorial and Cookbook
Black: PostScript Type 1 Font Specification (I think, don't have it yet)

The following are not part of the "official series":

Orange: Real World Postscript
White: Inside PostScript

My next two purchases will be the new Red Book and Glenn's book.
