I am posting this for a friend who is not on USENET, so if anyone has an answer to this, please send the reply to: mlevin@jade.tufts.edu. We have a DEC ln03r laserprinter, which we use for printing post-script files. However, it doesn't have the math symbol font in it, but we'd like to print files which use the math symbols. I have heard that it is possible to include font definitions in the postscript file itself, which will be loaded into the ln03r. If this is true, where can I get the postscript definitions for the math symbol font (I am printing files created by DECwrite), and how do I know where in my postscript file to include them? If this is not true, does anyone have any idea on how I can get around this problem? I would even settle for the printer simply ignoring (not printing) the characters it doesn't know how to draw (instead of skipping the whole document, as it does not). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please send all replies to mlevin@jade.tufts.edu.
