[comp.lang.postscript] ATM/Windows & Softfonts

Is it possible to get Adobe Type Manager for Windows to
build bitmap HP-Softfont-style downloadable fonts from outlines?
The documentation mentions a "Font Foundry" program available
with type libraries but the only Adobe PC font I have seen doesn't
seem to include it. Even if I had the foundry, would it render
the outline fonts as well as ATM?

I just received a free (!) update for my Adobe type library
that includes the font foundry program. I haven't used it
yet, but the doc says it can build HP downloadable fonts
from the outlines.
