Several times now I have seen files on IBM PC compatibles that have the
file extension eps. These files look very much like encapsulated postscript
files, except there seems to be binary data at the beginning and end of the
files. I presume that some of the data is a bitmap of the image, but I
thought that the EPS documents are supposed to have a section in them for
this. Does anyone know what the format of these .eps files is?
