I have been having problems getting a couple technical reports in Postscript format to print on a Hewlett-Packard Laserjet printer. The files are ones that I obtained by anonymous FTP, so I am not sure what software was used to create them. When trying to print the files, the printer appears to load them (as judged by the messages in the LCD display area of the printer) but does not begin printing anything. Any ideas what is causing the problem? Are there any utilities that I can get by anonymous FTP that would help me do syntax checking on the files before attempting to print them?
