To all postscript masters, I am looking for a postscript filter (accounting package) for the UNIX system on SUN4 machine running SunOS 4.1 . I would require keeping track of the number of pages/characters (or more...) sent to PostScript Apple laserWriter IINT. I have written some code for this but it always seems to explode with some piece of postscript I send to the printer... Do any of you have some package (public domaine of course!!) that I can use which correctly interprets postscript and gives a correct value of pages (quantity of data) sent to the printer (text-->Postscript or graphics...). Something I can easily use with "pac" summary in UNIX. If you do not have the software can you tell me if there is an anonymous FTP site to look this up!! Please respond by e-mail!!
